ACRYLIC IMPACT MODIFIER
Acrylic impact modifier is an acrylate copolymer with core-shell structure, the core is an acrylate copolymer with mild crosslinking and shell is methyl acrylate copolymer. It can improve PVC products’ shock resistance, at the same time it can also improve the heat stability and light stability of products. It has good compatibility with pvc resin. When receiving the external impact, the rubber core deforms, causing the generation of crazing and shear band, and absorbing the impact energy. This additive can be applied to PVC rigid products, such as PVC profile, pipes, sheet and fence products etc.
